Certified translation

Sworn translations are prepared by the certified translator, who is a person of a public trust and is specialized in the translation of the process and judicial documents. To certify translation, the sworn translator uses a round seal with the translator’s name and language in which he is certified. The seal also includes number of the entry into the list of the sworn translators conducted by the Ministry of Justice. The sworn translator can also interpret. The sworn translator translates for individuals as well as for national bodies (courts, police, prosecution etc.).

This profession is regulated in Poland by the Act on the Profession of Sworn Translators. According to the ordinance of the Minister of Justice, the remuneration of the sworn translators is accounted on the basis of the page with 1125 signs with space, and interpreting for each started hour.
